Tuuli Narkle’s age is commonly reported as around 30 in 2026, but her exact date of birth has not been confirmed by a reliable primary source. Several secondary databases list 1996 as her birth year, with some giving August 7, 1996, but official biographies from Paramount, NIDA and Opera Australia do not publish a birth date.
Narkle is an Australian stage and screen actor best known for playing Mary in Mystery Road: Origin and AFP Constable Evie Cooper in NCIS: Sydney. Born and raised in rural Western Australia, Narkle is a Yued and Wiilman Noongar person of Aboriginal and Finnish heritage and has developed a career spanning theatre, Australian television and internationally distributed productions.
Tuuli Narkle Age in 2026: What Can Be Verified?
As of October 2026, the most defensible answer is that Tuuli Narkle is approximately 30 years old, based on the commonly reported 1996 birth year. Her precise age should still be treated as unconfirmed because no authoritative biography located from Paramount/CBS, NIDA, Opera Australia or ABC publishes a full date of birth.
TVMaze lists Narkle’s birthday as August 7, 1996. If that date is accurate, Narkle turned 30 on August 7, 2026. However, TVMaze is a secondary entertainment database, and the specific date is not independently corroborated by the stronger primary and institutional sources available.
This distinction matters because celebrity biography pages often repeat dates from one another until an unverified detail begins to look established. For that reason, stating that Narkle is around 30 in 2026 is more accurate than presenting August 7, 1996 as an officially confirmed birthday.

Where Was Tuuli Narkle Born and Raised?
Narkle was born and raised in rural Western Australia. Paramount’s official NCIS: Sydney biography describes Narkle as a proud Yued and Wiilman Noongar person who is also of Finnish descent. Opera Australia gives the same Western Australian and Aboriginal-Finnish background.
ABC Radio National has specifically described Narkle as a Yued and Wiilman Noongar person from south-west Western Australia. Cultural dance was an important part of Narkle’s early exposure to performance, alongside storytelling, acting and later formal dance training.
That background has remained relevant to Narkle’s artistic work, particularly in productions involving First Nations characters and stories. In 2026, Narkle also appeared in an AACTA Festival discussion focused on First Nations representation and expanding the range of Indigenous characters seen on Australian screens.
Education and Early Performing Career
Narkle’s route into acting was not limited to conventional drama training. As a teenager, Narkle entered the acting stream at John Curtin College of the Arts while also studying classical ballet, contemporary dance and character dance at Charlesworth Ballet Institute.
A significant early professional role came as Ruby in Jane Harrison’s play Stolen, in a production directed and produced by Leah Purcell. According to both Paramount and Opera Australia, that experience encouraged Narkle to apply to the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
NIDA’s own alumni records confirm that Narkle completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2018.
After graduating, Narkle appeared in Winyanboga Yurringa at Belvoir St Theatre and joined Sydney Theatre Company’s Black Is the New White. These stage roles gave Narkle substantial professional experience before television brought wider recognition.
Theatre Roles Before Television Fame
Narkle continued to build a substantial theatre résumé after NIDA.
In 2021, Narkle portrayed Australian tennis great Evonne Goolagong Cawley in Sunshine Super Girl. Paramount’s professional biography identifies the production as one of the important roles in Narkle’s early career.
In 2022, Narkle took the central role of Helen Graham in Sydney Theatre Company’s adaptation of Anne Brontë’s The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Sydney Theatre Company’s production records confirm Narkle as Helen, while Paramount also records a Melbourne Theatre Company appearance as Roxanne in a contemporary adaptation of Cyrano.
The theatre work is important context for Narkle’s later television success. Rather than entering screen acting without extensive preparation, Narkle arrived with years of dance, theatre and formal dramatic training.
Breakthrough in All My Friends Are Racist
Narkle received broader screen exposure through ABC’s comedy All My Friends Are Racist. The series follows Casey and Belle, two young friends whose attempt to expose racism within their social circle creates consequences of its own.
ABC lists Narkle alongside Davey Thompson, Leah Purcell and Lisa Kay in the cast.
The role demonstrated a different part of Narkle’s range from the heavier dramatic work that followed. It also placed Narkle within a First Nations-created television project that used comedy and satire to explore race, privilege, identity and friendship.

Mystery Road: Origin and the AACTA Award
Narkle’s major dramatic breakthrough came with Mary in Mystery Road: Origin, opposite Mark Coles Smith as a younger version of detective Jay Swan.
The series functions as a prequel within the established Mystery Road universe and explores Jay and Mary’s relationship before the events shown in the earlier films and television series. Narkle’s performance received one of Australia’s most significant screen honours.
At the 2022 AACTA Awards, Narkle won Best Lead Actress in a Television Drama for Mystery Road: Origin. The ABC confirmed the award as part of the show’s seven-win haul that year.
Narkle returned as Mary for the second season of Mystery Road: Origin. ABC currently lists both seasons and Narkle among the principal cast.
The second season also brought further awards attention. Narkle was nominated for the 2026 Silver Logie for Best Lead Actress in a Drama, alongside performers including Yerin Ha, Odessa Young and Brooke Satchwell. Satchwell ultimately won the category.
Tuuli Narkle in NCIS: Sydney
Narkle’s international profile expanded substantially through NCIS: Sydney, the Australian installment of the long-running NCIS television franchise.
Narkle plays AFP Constable and liaison officer Evie Cooper, working as part of the combined Australian Federal Police and U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service team. Paramount lists Narkle as a core cast member alongside Olivia Swann, Todd Lasance, Sean Sagar, Mavournee Hazel and William McInnes.
By 2026, three seasons were available through Paramount+, and Narkle had remained part of the main ensemble.
Is Tuuli Narkle Returning for NCIS: Sydney Season 4?
Yes. Narkle is officially confirmed to return for Season 4 of NCIS: Sydney.
Screen Australia lists the fourth series as being in production, with a planned 2027 completion year and ten hour-long episodes. Its official cast listing includes Tuuli Narkle.
Paramount has separately confirmed the returning principal cast, including Narkle as Evie Cooper.
This makes NCIS: Sydney one of Narkle’s most significant ongoing projects as of late 2026.
Territory and Other Screen Work
Narkle also appeared in Netflix’s Australian drama Territory, released in 2024.
Netflix identifies Narkle as Keeley Redford in the series, which centres on a struggle for control of a huge cattle station in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Other screen credits include the 2023 Stan drama Bad Behaviour. Stan’s official listing includes Narkle among the cast of the four-part psychological drama.
Together, Mystery Road: Origin, NCIS: Sydney, Territory, Bad Behaviour and All My Friends Are Racist show a screen career ranging from comedy and crime procedurals to psychological and character-driven drama.
Awards and Recognition
The clearest milestone in Narkle’s career remains the 2022 AACTA win for Mystery Road: Origin. Paramount’s official biography also records a Casting Guild of Australia Rising Star Award in 2022.
In 2026, Narkle again received major industry recognition through an AACTA nomination for Mystery Road: Origin and a Silver Logie nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Drama.
That continuing recognition is notable because it came several years after Narkle’s first AACTA victory, rather than being limited to a single breakthrough performance.
Tuuli Narkle’s Relationship Status
Reliable public information about Narkle’s romantic life is limited. The official biographies from Paramount, NIDA and Opera Australia concentrate on professional background and do not identify a spouse or publicly confirmed partner.
For that reason, claims on unsourced celebrity websites about Narkle being married, dating someone specific or having a particular relationship history should not be treated as established facts unless Narkle or a reputable source confirms them.
Tuuli Narkle Net Worth and Earnings
There is no reliable, publicly verified figure for Tuuli Narkle’s net worth.
Some celebrity biography sites publish speculative net-worth ranges, but such figures are not supported by company filings, disclosed contracts, audited financial information or reputable financial reporting. Narkle’s salaries for NCIS: Sydney, Mystery Road: Origin and other productions have also not been publicly disclosed by the authoritative sources reviewed.
It is therefore more accurate to say that Narkle earns professionally from acting and related performance work while leaving any numerical net-worth estimate unconfirmed.
What Is Tuuli Narkle Doing Now?
As of 2026, Narkle remains active in Australian television and internationally distributed productions.
One of the strongest indicators of current career activity is NCIS: Sydney Season 4. Screen Australia lists the series as in production, with Narkle returning in the principal cast and completion scheduled for 2027.
Narkle also remained visible during the 2026 Australian awards season following the second season of Mystery Road: Origin, receiving nominations at both the AACTAs and Logies.
